Are you Career Ready?
REDEFINING STEM Over the next 20 years the world will require every person to be fluent in science, technology, engineering, and math. However, nearly 2.5 million STEM jobs will go unfilled this year. We work to demystify what STEM really means to develop young professionals that can think around health and safety, engage in public policy decisions and debates, find solutions for global challenges, and manage the increasing technological demand in our daily lives. WORKFORCE IN DEMAND Unfilled STEM jobs are not just about the misconception on how these careers make up only a particular sector, but because of the growth as well. STEM-related jobs have outpaced non-related job opportunities by three times the amount. Still, Black and Latinos are underrepresented in STEM fields with only 2.7% and 2.2% respectively earning a degree.
